Belly Shots!

I missed last week, so here is mama at 33 and 34 weeks pregnant ... i seem to get less attractive each week so good thing we only have 6 weeks left! :)

7 weeks to go!

we went yesterday for our last ultrasound (growth ultrasound) and everything looked great! it was hard for me to see all of the different body parts because it seemed so dark and shadowed, but my mom and nick were able to make out everything ... maybe i should have been wearing my glasses! we got to see the 4 chambers of the heart pumping away, eye sockets, kidneys, elbows and knees! we did have the tech check gender again and the tech showed us the girl parts so now i feel comfortable washing all of her clothes! baby is measuring 4 lbs 6 oz at 33 weeks and our dr. is predicting 7 lbs at full term. i was 9 lbs 8 oz so that was a nice surprise to hear! :) she's also in the 49% percentile for size, so not too big, not too small - just perfect! we were trying to take 3d pictures of her face, but she had her hand over 1/2 of her face the whole time ... a drama queen just like her mama! :)

Candy Land!

Thank you all for coming to my shower on Saturday - I had a great time! My baby shower was hosted by my mom, best friend Karly & godmother/aunt Julie and they did an amazing job! The theme was "Candy Land" and we chowed down on cupcakes, cookies, brownies, hot chocolate, wine and a candy bar! Here are some pictures of the treats and decor that my mom slaved over for months! :) I am so lucky to have all of these incredible women in my life and so is baby - she isn't even born yet and she has no idea how much she is already loved!

32 weeks

we missed last week, so here is the latest belly shot at 32 weeks ... getting closer! we decided to take today's picture in the baby room - "poetic princess" from behr is what we decided to put on the wall!

very excited for this week ... my first prenatal massage saturday morning, baby shower saturday night and 3d growth ultrasound on wednesday! baby has been moving a lot (she pushes her butt up frequently so you can see and feel it stick out from my belly...so i have nicknamed her Kendra!) (for those who don't know - Kendra is one of Hugh Hefner's ex girlfriends who loves to booty dance ... she also happens to be one of my favorite celebrities :))

it's starting to feel very real to nick & i that baby will be here in 8 short weeks ... nick is getting so excited ~ it makes me so happy to see him like that ~ he's going to be a great daddy! :)

Nursery part 1

So now that the holidays are over, it's time to crack down on this nursery. The room was painted on Monday so let the decorating begin! We still need to purchase bedding, light fixture, chair and rug, but I am hoping to have that all done by the end of the month. We don't have much completed, but here is the start.
